Inverell’s Premier Accommodation
Blair Athol Estate invites you to experience luxury hospitality in our gracious 1904 Manor House
Indulge in the Blair Athol Bed & Breakfast experience with antique furniture, ornate pressed metal ceilings, open fireplaces and cool verandahs. Sip a complimentary pre-dinner sherry or after-dinner port, while you relax in the drawing room or parlour.
Relax in our new purpose-built Day Spa - inspired by the Roman baths of history with columns, atrium windows, cascading waterfall and views from the terrace over Inverell and districts. The mineral-rich pool and spa are indoors and warm. The infra-red sauna is there for you to relax in with a magazine or drink. Book a massage with one of the remedial massage therapists to take away the stresses of the outside world.
Explore the grounds at your leisure and wander through five acres of formal gardens, viewing the spectacular private grove with its exotic trees planted in the 1870's, the sunken garden, ironstone cemetery and traditional outbuildings. Enjoy a game of tennis, croquet or outdoor chess, just for fun.
Treat yourself to a gourmet cooked or continental breakfast with the finest seasonal fruits, vegetables, and free-range eggs from the 54 acre estate, served to suit your schedule in the sunny breakfast room or in the elegant dining room.

The Town of Inverell
The Town of Inverell is one of substance and style - this pretty, plentiful spot on the Macintyre River was first settled in the mid 1800's by Scottish immigrants. It's a bustling regional centre drawing thousands of visitors each year for its diversity of natural, historical and cultural attractions. With an elevation of 590m, Inverell has a fantastic climate - warmer than some higher New England settlements. Just ask the Host for information about local gem fossicking, wineries, olive plantations or fishing and boating on the Copeton Dam. Inverell is also known for its excellent shopping facilities from large chain stores to boutique shops.
As you turn into Blair Athol Estate, the beautiful bunya tree- lined avenue leads the guest to the circular driveway surrounding the elegant fountain. The manicured greenery that lines the entrance to Blair Athol gives the visitor a sense of faraway times and twinkling garden parties under the setting sun.
