Inverell’s most welcoming accommodation

Something for everyone

Whatever your requirement, whatever your fancy, Blair Athol Estate will almost certainly be able to provide you with that “little something extra” in the way of an experience: an out-of-the-everyday occurrence tailored to your individual specification. Perhaps it’s playing “Lady of the Manor” in a grand suite, replete with four-poster bed and sumptuous linens tastefully styled to add to your “moment.” Perhaps you fancy a more simple, but totally comfortable room, decorated with a nod to post-colonial influences. Then there is the aforementioned “Maid’s Room,” which most “below stairs” staff of the early 1900s would be thrilled to service, let alone stay in!

Spending time out of doors

For the more energetic and less introspective guest, there’s an opportunity to display their skills on the tennis court or even a game of outdoor chess. Of course, walking the extensive grounds, in all approx. 55 acres, is always an option for those so inclined. Whilst wandering about, do check out the original stables and outbuildings, the greenhouse and chicken coop, all still viable and utilised by the “big house” to provide sustenance to all the valued guests.

Historic, luxurious common spaces

The Drawing Room or Parlour, furnished with Edwardian chairs, antiques and gramaphone, invites you to relax with a good book, play board games, listen to music or watch a TV programme or movie from the large collection of DVDs. Or, you might prefer to enjoy a complimentary glass of sherry or port in the drawing room whilst enjoying the open fire.
